Saint Luke’s Nursing Program embraces the complexity of our changing profession and acknowledges that the role of the professional nurse generalist will continue to evolve. Educational processes are student-centered and focused on development of professional nurse generalists. Multiple opportunities for complex problem solving, decision making, collaboration, and leadership in the delivery of safe quality care are provided in diverse practice settings. As reflected in the quality of their patient encounters and achievement of patient outcomes, our graduates are prepared to meet the demands of the ever-changing health care environment and to act as patient advocates and catalysts for improvement and change.
