Welcome to Saint Luke’s College of Health Sciences
With over a hundred year’s experience in providing quality nursing education, the nursing program at Saint Luke’s College of Health Sciences is focused on meeting the educational needs of students as they prepare for a fulfilling career in professional nursing practice.
First as a hospital based training school then a hospital affiliated nursing diploma program and now a baccalaureate of science nursing program within an institution of higher education, Saint Luke’s College of Health Sciences’ Nursing provides “student-centered” education in alignment with professional nursing standards. We are committed to making appropriate transformations in nursing education as demanded by our students’ needs and interests and the prerequisites for high quality safe professional nursing practice. Students can expect to be active participants in their own learning.
Today’s nursing graduates must be prepared to meet the demands of an ever-changing complex health care environment and to act as client advocates and catalysts for improvement and change. Graduates must be empowered through transformative education to provide/coordinate safe quality nursing care focused on the achievement of patient centered outcomes.
